Palmer Steel uses Computer-aided Technology in the design, analysis and manufacturing through the use of 3-D Modeling, MRP software and CNC systems. The in-house Project Management and Drafting divisions include a staff of experienced personnel in detailing, production control and cost engineering. We use 3-D modeling to produce structural steel shop drawings with exceptional accuracy. Coupled with data transfer to CNC-controlled beam, angle, drill lines and plate duplicators, we offer the speed, accuracy and efficiency to meet our customers' demanding schedules.

Palmer Steel has been providing quality fabricated steel products since 1953. Our facility is located in McAllen, Texas on
approximately 15 acres with over 100,000 square feet under one roof.
Our quality assurance program is part of a never-ending commitment toward "zero defects". Palmer Steel has implemented a written Quality Assurance Manual for a comprehensive company-wide program
that meets the requirements of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
Every piece of steel manufactured in our plant is inspected and specifically checked for weld quality, dimensional correctness, and strict conformance to cleaning and painting specifications prior
to shipment. All material in our inventory has a positive identification for total traceability.
